Honda maintenance by the Maintenance Minder
Newer Hondas tell you what they need with a Maintenance Minder code on the dash, such as A1, B1 or B12. Tell us the code when you drop off and we do the items it calls for: oil and filter, tire rotation, brake inspection, and the filters and fluids on the B and sub-item codes. Full synthetic oil change is $119 with up to 5 quarts and the filter, which covers most four-cylinder Civics, Accords, CR-Vs and Fits.
Honda V6 engines (Accord, Odyssey, Pilot, Ridgeline) use a timing belt that should be replaced on the interval in the owner's manual; most four-cylinder Hondas use a chain and don't need this. We replace the belt, tensioner and water pump together so you're not paying the labor twice.
Honda repairs we handle
Check engine light diagnostics are $175, credited toward the repair if we do the work. Brakes start with a $75 inspection, also credited. A/C that stopped blowing cold gets a proper leak diagnosis rather than a top-off. We also handle cooling system leaks and overheating, starters, alternators and batteries, and transmission service and repair on both conventional automatics and CVTs. We supply the parts we install and list them on your estimate.
Honda smog checks
Every gasoline and hybrid Honda takes the standard smog check, $58 with the certificate, walk in Monday through Saturday.
