Lifetime Warranties
Smog Mart Plus Lifetime Warranty applies to non-commercial passenger and light duty vehicles only, and warrants it's Brake Shoes, Disc Pads, Starters, Alternators, CV Shafts for as long as the customer owns the vehicle. The brake shoes and disc brake pads will be considered worn out when the lining's minimum wearable thickness is less than the manufacturer's specifications.
Smog Mart Plus also includes a Lifetime Warranty that applies to Master Cylinders, Water Pumps & CV Axles which are installed new, as opposed to rebuilt or remanufactured.
Smog Mart Plus warrants brake drums, disc brake rotors, rebuilt master cylinders, brake hoses rebuilt calipers and much more for 90 days from the date of repair. Brake work performed on 3/4 ton vehicles and larger, as well as vehicles used for commercial and/or other business purposes, Smog Mart Plus warrants it's parts and labor for 90 days from date of repair.
Except as specified above or otherwise on the customer's invoice, Smog Mart Plus warrants all other parts for 6 month or 6000 (whichever comes first) from the date of repair. Where applicable, lifetime warranties supplied by the manufacturers on certain rebuilt or reconditioned parts, which are installed by Smog Mart Plus, will be passed on to the customer. There is no warranty on used or customer supplied parts.
During the appropriate warranty term for the particular parts, if your Smog Mart Plus parts become damaged, defective or worn out, Smog Mart Plus will replace them at no charge for the parts. The customer will be required to pay current labor prices in effect at the time, for the installation of warranted parts. *Any additional parts or labor not covered under warranty that may be required to return the brake system or other systems and components to proper working condition will be the responsibility of the customer.
Smog Mart Plus warrants all labor for 90 days from the date of repair.
This warranty does not cover conditions resulting from abuse, accidents, vandalism or by defects and excessive wear caused by the customer's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance to insure a sound braking system for the vehicle. Repairs performed by others on the same parts or systems as work performed by Smog Mart Plus, immediately voids the warranty.
In order to honor this warranty, a copy of your invoice or sales receipt must be presented to Smog Mart Plus when you bring your vehicle in for warranty covered repairs.
